Rodeo 2012

We made our official yearly visit to the Houston Rodeo and Livestock show. The kids aren't big enough yet for the actual Rodeo (okay more like Mr. L isn't) so we just did the livestock show and kids area.  Miss O wanted ribs for her meal and inhaled them. I guess that means she is a true Texan. She also put together her rodeo attire and rummaged through her brothers closet for his vest (yep that is Mr. L's vest).

They had a blast and both were decked out in their gear. Hubby and I decided we need to get cowboy boats finally after living in Texas nine years and no they do not issue them at the border when you come in.

No barrel this year so we had to do. I was so sad. I have taken a picture of each kid from year one in the barrel. 

Zoo Day with the Kids

Spring Break is officially here and I took the kids for two hours to the zoo n Monday. Mr. L walked most of the time and both loved seeing the African Forest which is my new favorite area of the Zoo.
