Peace Out Santa

Well my hubby decided he wanted to spread some holiday cheer and take his bug out dressed as Santa!

Holiday Bokeh

I have been on the quest to capture some good holiday bokeh which is the the festive circle lighting behind my subjects. Holiday lights are perfect for it so this morning while it was still dark, I took the camera and played with both the colored lights of the tree as well as the white ones. I got some neat affects and am still on the hunt for amazing bokeh.

Holiday Movie Night 2011

We had our annual Holiday Movie night in the back yard. The kids got a visit from Santa Claus.

The Rose Garden

We went over to the Children's Museum the other day and wandered through Herman Park's Rose Garden before and after. All the roses were in bloom and yes I stopped and smelled the roses.

Flags at the Park

Bay Area Council on Drugs and Alcohol had a flag installation set up at the local park. The flags represented  all of the people who have died on Texas roads in 2009 with a alcohol related accident. We went over to look at the flags and wandered the park as well.
