Galveston Train Museum

Saturday was free museum day and the museums that were in participating in the area were mostly the small and unique ones. I looked through the list and saw that the Galveston Train Museum was free so I signed us up for the free tickets which were emailed me to me, printed them off and on we went to see this interesting museum with the kids.

We didn't tell them we were going until we arrived. Miss O read the sign out front and instantly said cool. Mr. L upon getting inside kept asking to see Thomas so off went went. This isn't a huge museum and takes about 90 minutes to walk around.

Happy 4th of July (a little early)

I took the kids to the park today to take their annual 4th of July pictures. We always go tot he same park in our area because it seems to patriotic to me. I did take them on the abandoned train tracks as well for some photos.  Mr. L actually cooperated this year for the most part even though it was already close to 100 degrees and not quite 10 am.
