Before and After Photo

I have been playing with photos I take. I love to get a good photo and than see what settings I can play with in Lightroom which is currently my new favorite editing/developing program for my photos.

I took this photo of Mr. L today. As you might notice it is darker and yes the kid has stuff all over his face (it was face paint that didn't all come off until a bath). I like the photo but it wasn't dynamic enough for me.

So I played with the settings in Lightroom and changed to a light sepia coloring. I think the photo now is unique looking and love how the new color scheme washes out the kids in the background more. Mr. L is the prime subject in the photo now. 

I had a photo of Ms. O as well that I liked and adjusted the coloring on it too. This was after I adjusted the coloring on it. I like the photo but it still lacked something. 

So here is the photo done in the sepia color scheme. I love how her face lights up in it so much more. She seems sun kissed now in the photo and it isn't as dark.
